I dry tomatoes by cutting them up thinly putting them on a
rack(like a cake rack) then sprinkling them with sea salt and putting them on a
windowsill that gets all day sun.If it is very warm this only takes a day or two
.If not so warm can take 3-5 days it depends on the sun etc.When they are
dry I put them in a jar filled with olive oil then use them thru out the
year.They are nice on crackers and very tasty in homemade bread.
