We are gardening on a twenty acre property in west central New Jersey. For
years we had the problem of severe deer damage. A few years ago, I put up
Benner's deer fencing and we are really living in the happy ever after
now!! This is a black plastic mesh fence that does a great job. It takes
a little while to get the deer used to the fence so that they don't try to
push through it but after a while they just go elsewhere. I have had no
damage at all. It is essential that the entire area that you want to
control should be fenced. One small gap and they will walk the perimeter
and find their way in. Take a look at their web page.
http://www.bennersgardens.com/ We attach it to trees around the perimeter
of the area that we garden and it is almost invisible.
