You can try keeping the vines themselves buried under the soil. Otherwise,
floating row covers seem to work but require you to hand pollinate the
flowers since they also block out pollinators.

Has anyone had any success rescuing plants from these little monsters?A
friend of mine in Texas is having probs with them as they are attcking her
Japanese pumpkins(I sent her the seeds and don't want her to lose the
