Countrygirl, I cannot help you other than when I had grapes
(and will again some day) they took lots and lots of water but not much other
care. I planted the vines in good soil and watered all the time but never
even fertilized them or anything and they grew and produced for over 10 years
and sadly I had to leave them behind when I moved - but will do it again in the
future.
