I use dried egg shells that I save up all winter for protecting against
snails. Dry them in micro-wave and crumble, or just dry naturally and
crumble in sandwich bag. Does a fanastic job. Spread around your plants
that are supceptable.
I use dish washing soap mixed in water and spray on roses and wisteria for
spiders and anphids. It works very well.
