Does anyone remember hearing anything about sandpaper around plants to stop
slugs cold (obviously, by sanding themselves to death)? Seems I read
something about this a long time ago. Make a collar of sandpaper and place
around base of plant.
But, as the beer seems to work most of the time, it might be best to stay
with that. I am interested in hearing about the sandpaper solution, if
anyone has tried it.
