I am eagerly planning the 1998 garden. My sister has a tiered area that the
previous owner had gardened extensively (flowers, etc.) It has been
overgrown for years and we are clearing it for shrubs on top, then some
perennials and a large vegetable and herb garden area on the bottom.
The area gets sun for most of the day. I was wondering if there is anything
left for us to plant there, as a start, this season. I know we could fall
sow some veggies for what is usually a second crop. But if we get some in
now, what would anyone suggest? It is very hot right now, so that leaves out
the lettuces.
Also, please, e-mail me privately if you have landscaping suggestions. This
is turning into a major project, and I don't have all the experience I need.
