You have a vacuum sealer. I can't do without mine. I've had it for about 6
years.
I use to can. But, with only 2 people, I find just freezing works out well
for me.
I have blanched first the veggies I want to freeze. I just make sure I
drain as
much water from them as I can. I don't know what kind of sealer you have,
but
sometimes I partially freeze the veggies in the bag first. So they wont
squish
and flatten too much. Also, the water has a tendency to get sucked up by
the
vacuum.
I have a Tilia sealer. I love it. Just realized I need more bags. I seal
all my
foods in the freezer!!! The shelf life of the fresh veggies is greatly
increased.
