Re: String Beans over??HEAT?


Is your weather (or was it?)over 90deg..Pole beans or any bean for that
matter will slow or stop production all together in high or prolonged
heat.It is a survival strategy to side step possible drought.
It happens here, to me, almost every year.As the heat tapers off they
will pick up again.
Just continue to water faithfully and compost to shade the soil and they
should be fine.
What varieties did you plant?Not all the same in behavior..
