hi this is jayesh out here.i think the onions should have been removed
before they flowered.to remove the onions first cut the stem portion and
then uproot the bulb. do not forget to irrigate your plot prior to
uprooting.
you may spray malic hydrazine-40 three weeks prior to uprooting to prevent
sprout formation.
