Hello All,
I planted some Rutabagas in mid March and I'm wondering if anyone has
experience with growing/harvesting Rutabagas. On the packet of seeds it says
"90 days to maturity," and to harvest them when the roots reach 2" in
diameter. I still have 2 -3 wks to go before the 90 days harvest time but I
can see the roots coming up from the ground...do you measure the diameter of
that? This is the first year I've been successful with Rutabagas and I can
hardly wait to taste them! I remember, as a young girl, having them every
Thanksgiving dinner and thru the winter.
