Re: When to Harcest Rutabagas?

Hello,
Try planting a crop of rutabagas in the middle of july for a fall
harvest.
Like most brassicas rutabagas taste a lot better and do a lot better when
grown as a fall crop.
I plant kohlrabi, kale, rutabagas, broccoli, cauliflower, turnips and
cabbages in july for a fall harvest here in CT zone 6.
You may get away with planting in august because you are more a zone 7
than a zone 6.

I asked God for all things so that I could enjoy life.
He gave me life so I could enjoy all things.
