Nesa - I had a lot of luck growing BURBEE'S "Spacemaster" cucumbers in an
old fashioned metal wash tub, on legs, that I found at a local auction. I
would think that most varieties of "bush" type cukes would do well in large
containers filled with good soil & some composed manure.

Hi,
I'm toying with the idea of growing cucumbers in containers , any ideas? This
is the first time I'm planting them.I live in Singapore- we have lots of
sun-all year- but very little land!I'm running out of space in my veg
plot. What sort of soil is ideal- loose like for zukes, lots of compost?I'll
be planting our local chinese cucumber and some seeds from the states I got
through trade.
