Tomatillos are very easy to grow and prolific. I am in NH and got a 3 year
supply in the freezer of chopped & frozen tomatillos ready for salsa making
from only six plants. They will do quite well by letting the plants sprawl.
Another friend up here had a similar experience ... so much produce
from tomatillos that they plowed them under in mid August.
Tomatillos are a key ingredient to many of the best salsa recipes.

Has anyone grown either of these before? I am wondering whether to stake
them, cage them, or can I just let them sprawl? Also, would anyone have
a recipe for ground cherry jam or pie? Thanks.
