No, but Ian, a friend used some mesh tubes in her garden.  Next thing I
knew she was ripping them out.  Her cat got caught by the foot, upside down
for God knows how long, and it was frantic.  It took weeks for the cat to
regain her good health.  If you have cats, I'd be wary of those things.
The holes tighten as something caught struggles.  They're now selling
stainless steel wavy poles for tomatoes.  Haven't used them or seen them
used, so I don't know how well they work.  Margaret
