Hi Alan,
I did a recce walk with my grand-daughter and her girl friends last
weekend and found that the blackberries and elderberries are not
quite ready yet!! By the time I return from my little trip to Austria
they will be just right. As for the billberries, there were none to
be found, so they must have been early. We usually reckon to be a month to
six weeks behind you, but this year has been exceptional, with plenty
of rain and lots of hot sunny days. No hose-pipe bans either, so the
old hose has been out very often!!!
