Is that really so.  My late father in-law also said that.  He said the same
about parsnips.  He lived to be nearly 100 and I always a great respect for
his wisdom from life experiences.  Horseradish isn't adapted here and we
only have light frosts, if any so I haven't had the opportunity to try it on
parsnips.  -Olin
