Hi Alan,

When I returned from Austria last Friday, I found my lass and her 
pals had been out and had picked me 20lbs.elderberries, 
30lbs.blackberries and 10lbs.sloes. They put them in the freezer in 
5lb.lots!! They all came up on Sat. and left with a few quid in their 
pockets. The elderberries I will dry in order to concentrate the 
flavour. Most of the blackberries will be turned into wine, the rest 
into jelly and jam. THe sloes will go into sloe gin!! Berries from my 
hawthorn tree will also be added to gin to improve the flavour!!

I hope you dont get the impession that I am a bit of a boozer (hic)!!
