I saw a physocarpus opulifolia yesterday, planted with some golden hosta.
The combination was stunning.
Has anyone any experience with this shrub? How much shade would it take?
It wasn't flowering when I saw it, but the dark foliage is unusual and very
appealing. Are the blossoms significant (visually, I mean). Of course,
_fragrant_ blossoms would have me rushing right out to find one. ;-)
