Agreed.  This is a slightly sloped west facing
bed which gets regular summer watering. 
Problem is, it's also somewhat in the path of
that wicked east wind, but I think I'll try it
there, anyway.

Something I read gave me the impression it
liked semi-shade, perhaps because the only
picture I have of it were from Ken Druse's
"Shade Gardens" book.

Thanks to all for your help.  I may try the
species if I lose this one.
