If you're having a really hot summer, then I wouldn't even think
about trying to move this rose. If you really have to do it this
year, make sure it's before fall and you give it plenty of water.
But I would recommend waiting until April or so just to make sure.
If the plant is REALLY special, you might want to consider trying
to make a cutting or something prior to moving it just in case.
