The Forest Pansy plants that I have seen are not large plants., Mine is
perhaps 7 feet tall but redbuds don't get very large anyway and there is
probably less chorophyll in the purple leaves. They do turn greener as
the summer goes. The Stryrax is not a large tree either. They both are
understory trees and could be trimmed to shape. They could both be
trained in a pot but the redbud would not look very good in my opinion.
