Marilyn , how long is long? It is native in the southeast. Could it be
the location? I know of some Forest Pansy trees that are 7 or 8 years
in the location along the road to Knoxville which means no extra care
just planting in the grass. Mine is 5 years old for me. I grow white
grass and purple Homestead verbena with it and would hate to lose it.
