Re: Monster Wisteria

Jose,

My limited experience is the same as Janis's. A 30 year+ wisteria grows on
the garage at the family homestead. About six years ago, the tenant cut it
to the ground. When I moved in the following year, it had ALOT of leafy
growth but no flowers. I kept pruning it back to the same few nodes all
thru May, June and July, then let it gather its strength for winter. It
bloomed beautifully the following spring and was even better the next year.

I live in an area with a long growing season, hot humid summers and cold,
cold winters. \
