Jean, you're welcome. Dirr says these plants are supposedly hard to
transplant, so you might want to root prune it this fall and move it in
very early spring - possibly cut it back hard soon?? Others may have more
/ better advice here. But, I do think, if you want to keep the oaks, you
will need to move it.
Seems odd to me that they would be hard to transplant, since they
constantly want to put out new vines that root wherever they touch
soil...but, what do I know? Just thought I'd pass that bit on FWIW.
