Re: Disanthus cercidifolius

Chris,
I've been growing this large shrub for 8 years or so, and truly
recommend it. My soil is pretty neutral, but has pathogens which
killed off the Cercis I tried.

My Disanthus is in full afternoon sun and has been fine. The ones
in the Washington Park Arboretum (Seattle) are in deep shade,
and color dark burgundy. Worth a try!
