Re: Disanthus cercidifolius?


I have grown Disanthus cercidifolius for 6 years.  I originally had it in a
mostly suny spot that dried out in summer.  I later moved it to a mostly shady
moist woodland position.  Both locations were acidic but not extremely so. The
latter situation (shady, moist) is what I most often see recommended for this
plant and mine has done much better there.  Fall color in both locations was
very good..
