Rose of Sharon

I recently planted a Rose of Sharon 'Connie Mullens' (a lovely double
pink variety). It has been planted about 2 weeks in a sunny,
south-facing location. I have been watering regularly.

The leaves seem to losing their deep green color. Looks like it needs
some nitrogen, but I'm not sure whether it is a bit late in the season?
Would it be ok to fertilize it? Or is there something else it needs?
Or it the light color of the leaves normal for this plant?
