I tape NPR broadcasts and listen to them later in the week on a Walkman.
So I finally get around to listening to last Saturday's Weekend Edition,
and who do I hear but Tony Avent being interviewed concerning the death
of J. C. Rawlings. On a network that regularly features Andre Codrescu,
Tony's speech sounds pretty normal.
