Re: [aroid-l] Xanthos. saggitiflorum

Since you can purchase them dry at the grocery you should be able to store
them dry. I put them in a pot and store in the greenhouse with a min temp of
60 degrees. They die back at that temp but I keep them on the dry side and
they do well.

Subject: [aroid-l] Xanthos. saggitiflorum

A 4 ft Xanthosoma saggitiflorum won't be happy outside in my upcoming zone 4
winter. Will this plant die back to its tuber (or bulb)? I dup it up and
have
it in a pot indoors.

Should I just treat it like a houseplant until spring arrives again? What
temperature and conditions would it like indoors?

Thanks,
