Re: getting volunteers involved

Hi, Don (and everyone else)!

We're starting having a Spring Work Day during National Volunteer Week
(last week of April) and a Fall Work Day during "Make A Difference Day"
(last Saturday in October). With the new emphasis on volunteering, if you
feed people, have lots of activities based on all energy levels and it's
only a 1 day commitment, one seems to be able to bring out LOTS of people
and get quite a bit done.

I'm not sure when the big volunteer days are in Canada, but it might be
worth the effort. Listing your needs at VolunteerMatch.org seems to bring
in both "one-time" and "steady schedule" folks.
