[cg] environmental education

I am doing research to set up a community city garden, near where I live
which could be used to povide environmental education for the community
,especially children. We live in Bacelona ,Spain, so have a mild
mediteranean climate. I would appreciate any information about community
gardens which have been used in this way and suggestions for teaching
