 and read the pages on "starting a community garden," and "school gardens." There's a lot there to absorb and read. 

When you're read, please consider joing the American Community Gardening Association in order to attend our regional seminars, national convention, get a free subscription to "Organic Gardening," and have a member's price on ACGA materials.

Hi Everyone! I am looking into starting a community garden at area schools first then branching to the community. Any ideas to get started would be greatly appreciated. I'm interested in obtaining a sponsor so I can start in the grant searching process. Would I go to the School District or the School principal or is there another avenue.
