Advice for dealing with skeptical site developers

Mr. Ackelsberg,

Even if you have to start small--say if you persuade "them" to let you
do just a small garden this summer, as a pilot project--be sure to
include some flowers, and put them on the outside of your garden:
zinnias, marigolds, sunflowers...

This has such curb appeal and usually attracts a lot of interest and
admirers.  I bet it'll help "them" come around.
