Re: a need for tomato cages: old, used, tired, & broken

Susan

Are you looking for the cages, or the uses?

In my garden we use sink them as securely as possible and top them with round drainage trays to make bird baths and feeders.
Upside down with the points bound together they make great topiary frames for ivy or for faking xmas trees.

To whom it may concern,

I just found the community garden message board while desperately looking for tomato cages (for artwork)
Sadly, there was an unanswered posting from 2001, asking if anyone had a creative use for tomato cages.
I do, I'm in need of all/ any that I'm able to get my hands on. Please let me know if you can help. Time is of the essence.

thanks,
