Hi Kyle: was this question directed to me??
I am in West Los Angeles, 7 miles from the ocean. I grow most of my ferns
hanging in a somewhat sheltered south eastern corner of my yard. Right
now it is 52 degrees. It went down to 38 this am.
What part of the country are you in & it sounds like you have wonderful
places to get ferns from.
Most little nurseries are gone in L. A.

Kyle,
Where are you at that you have so little variation in temperature?
Believe it or not, if you really just hunker down and start hunting, you
will be amazed at what you can find. I've bought Blechnum gibbum at
Home Depot, Asplenium 'fimbriata' at Walmart, and dozens of other from
those places and Lowe's and such. Little nurseries on the side of the
road can turn up remarkable surprises at pennies on the dollar, as well.
I bought Pyrrosia hastata and Blechnum serrulatum from just one place
for $3 a gallon on the hastata and $20 for a 7 gallon serrulatum.
