Hi Doret,
if you can provide some pics it would help. Are the green patches on the peat/sand mixture or on the containers?

This was my very first attempt on treeferns, it took over a year (think the spore where old or not ideal soil/humidity) but they sprouted. During this long time I was more than once nearly to throw the whole thing in the litter. God thanks I didn't do it! ;-)
