Re: Datura/Book

Sorry, Jesse. While mine did seed true there were only a few of them and for a couple of years only. I don't have anything but the wild white ones now. I'm so busy I'm meeting myself coming and going.

Hey Zen...if you get any decent seeds off of yours, can I have a few? The
only one I have is white and every time I think about ordering more
seeds...it's usually too late in the year to even start them. *sighhh*.

I ordered the book "Plant Seed, Pull Weed: Nurturing the Garden of Your
Life" by Geri Larkin. It's a nice read...makes me chuckle and even made me
want to go outside and re-evaluate my gardens. Sometimes you just need to
"re-do" and re-think them. Now that I'm working full time and going back to
college, I have limited time, but I just set a timer for 1 hours and go
outside and work. Amazing what you can get done when you do that.

I bought some of those hybrid moon flowers, name escapes me at the
moment. The doubles, purple and yellow varieties this year. Of course,
this year hasn't been gardening or upkeep for many reasons, lucky if I
have time to water them.

I noticed they already have seed pods (yes it got away from me) although
I will probably have about 15 flowers open tomorrow, their blooming its
fool head off......

so the question is.....Wondering if they seed true or would I end up with
the plain jane white ones from it?
