Re: check in time

Snowed an inch or so last night & this afternoon it looked like a snowglobe out there for a couple of hours. I need to go to work tomorrow & am not looking forward to driving in it. Not too cold 20 F today & hasn't dropped with sundown. 
Glad to hear from all of you. Stay safe & be careful on the roads.

We had snow most of the day yesterday--about 4 inches accumulated-- then last night freezing rain, so this morning the snow is covered with a thin crust of ice. Have to say the dogwood outside my window is spectacular, like something Steuben would make.

It always amuses me that, for juncos, my area defines "flying south for the winter". Took part in our area's Audubon society Christmas bird count today. We logged about 30 species. We saw a flock of nine bluebirds and logged 4 different raptors. More American tree sparrows than I could have imagined. My only disappointment was no turkeys!
