Can't help you Theresa, mine is a plain jane phone call one which I have had
for a couple of years. 
 
When I had a business cell phone, it was aggrivating.  Someone always
calling.  The one I have now is fine and can keep me in touch with friends and
family. I didn't port the number when I switched companies, so....I also took
the long distance off my home phone since long distance is free with the cell
phone.
 
They are great in emergency situations and everyone should have one for that.
