Re: now heat/weeds
You are right about ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia/trifida), at
least insofar as it is native! It is the major cause of hayfever here
and in Europe, where it has naturalized. (Our payback for dandelion
and plantain.) Of course, we also gave them poison ivy!
