Do you read Dilbert? Almost everyone identifies with Dilbert, everyone has a
favorite cartoon that typifies some awful experience they had with the
system. Civilian, military, whoever. That's either comforting or horrifying
depending on your mood for the day, but I think people and processes are
pretty much the same in any organization. Only the acronyms change.

And I never went for a civilian job after I retired because I  
wouldn't have lasted 10 seconds in a civilian hospital!
