Thanks Lee... i did check the spread of water and that was how I 
determined what the problem is.

I too would like to endorse Bob's edible landscape book.  It is one 
of my all time favorites but unfortunately, very little known.   I 
don't think it is even published anymore but if you can come across 
it in a second hand store, BUY IT!

  Does anyone know if Bob is still doing his subscription newsletter?
