Re: Cedar & Cocoa Bean Mulches
Chocolate is toxic to dogs - and other animals, as with people the amount
needed to be toxic can vary.
I have used the cacao mulch. For those of you growing Theobroma the mulch is
a must have, especially for pot culture. In my flower beds it really helped
retain moisture. I do like it but it is expensive and I have animals.
A man used it to mulch his vegetable garden. He sold corn at our farmers
market. He claimed he had no pest problems after using it.
