Re: [GWL]: FW: SBLD - ReThink Paper

A small way to save paper:
When I print a copy of a business letter or a manuscript for my files, I
use the reverse side of used paper that's no longer needed. Instead of
throwing away unwanted press releases, I use the back side for scratch paper.
Whenever possible, I reuse padded and manilla envelopes (especially if I
already have a good relationship with an editor as an established
professional). It's a small dent in the mountain of paper being generated,
but I work on the theory that every little bit helps.
Apparently some Chinese emperor wanted to rid the nation of flies, so he
decreed that everyone in the country must kill at least ten flies per day.
Within a short period of time, the fly problem was under control. I suppose
the same principle could be applied to snails in the garden as well as paper
in the office. Catriona Tudor Erler
