Hi,

  I must say I did have a good time in Chicago. It would have been nice
though if there had been more informal time where we had wine and snacks and
were able to just roam around and meet new people.
  I wore that new booty blue ribbon on my name tag the whole time, but
didn't notice many old timers going out of their way to introduce themselves
to the new guy....but I did my best to not be a shrinking violet. My eyes
aren't what they used to be and it would be nice if they would dump the GWA
writing on the top of the name tags and make the names larger. Be nice to
know who you were talking to.
  It'd be good if they had the meeting for first timers a tad later too. I
left San Luis Obispo at 5 am but it was all I could to get to Indian Lakes
12 hours later.
   Still, it was fun and I only wish that I'd managed to have met more of
the writers.
