Just a note of caution about hosting groups on public platforms. Lately
communications from certain groups and newsletter distributors have been
getting caught up in my spam filter. This even happened with one
individual.

Although I can put in an e-mail address to "allow" it to get through, I
just ran into a situation where even that didn't help. I never know this
is happening until I realize that I haven't heard anything for a month,
or the person is able to communicate to me in some other way that they
are getting "bounced."

This problem happens a lot on Yahoo Groups, where spammers sign on to
join the group, send their spam, and then all further communications from
that group get caught in my filter.

Just a thought.
