Larry,

How long has Photoshop been used? Birds and Blooms and their farm/country mag had rich, vivid color and fairly clear photos back in the 35 mm film days and perhaps even when most people were using Instamatics. I never could figure out how they did that.

As for super saturated photos, most consumer digital cameras create very "vivid" images. And they can be saturated more in Photoshop then again on press. So I guess it's a look the mag desires, as the images can be desaturated just as easily. And don't underestimate the power of Photoshop in the hands of a skilled operator. The name Miracle
