Re: Trash


My day job is for a large printer, but I am not a print shop historian. So I
can't speak to how long exactly. I do know that before digital became
popular, much print work was digitized before going to press. Then, even
when film photography was still the norm, slides and negs were scanned and
post processed in PhotoShop prior to production on press. That was done
using PhotoShop, I presume, with the first versions of PS. I've been using
it on the job for 11 years, so it has been in use for quite a few years.

And yes, Velvia rox, though most consumers were shooting print film with
cheap WalMart processing and "vivid" colors. Woohoo! lol
