Re: Nikons and Canons in the closet

Whatever the sizes, take two cameras. What if something were to happen to the only camera you are carrying? This happened to me at the GWA annual meeting in Chicago (2003). I left my Nikon film camera at home to save luggage space. The digital camera broke. The best I could do on the fly was buy disposable film cameras.

Or take both, since 2 cameras are good insurance. I'll be very surprised if the big one comes out of the backpack very often, though.
